The Artist

After studying printed textiles in North London, Louise moved to France where she lived for twelve years, and discovered a natural talent for drawing portraits. She became well known in the French village where she lived.

Returning home to England in 2009, to be close to family; Louise decided to branch out from drawing people to drawing pet portraits which she now concentrates on. She prefers one of three methods when completing a pet portrait, pastel or acrylic or if you wish she can supply a drawing in pencil.

To complete a pet portrait Louise requires a clear face on photograph of your pet, as she bases the portrait on the eyes, whereby she can capture the character and spirit of your pet.

If you are looking for that extra special gift to perhaps remember your pet or to immortalise them not only for Christmas but for any occasion, Louise is the lady for you. She is a perfectionist in her work and her love for animals and for her family shine through all her work. Every piece of work is unique as is Louise.
